The Power of Prayer. Really? Does prayer have any power? If so, why? Why do we pray if God knows all the answers and is in control of everything in heaven and on earth? Why do we pray in Jesus' name?
Prayer... sweet, personal, intimate! As I matured through the years (a nice way of saying getting older) I realized the difference between a prayer life and a praying life. The first is "me" focused on "my" prayer life. But, a praying life is one that leans on the Holy Spirit as your prayer teacher. It is a life constantly sold out to Jesus with continuous communication with Him on everything! A person who leads a praying life walks through the day in an all consuming relationship with God--from the moment she awakes, until she goes to sleep at night. She yearns to hear from the Father and wants to act in a way to bring glory to Him.

Preparations for another exciting Share Fair are under way. Get ready for some new twists and turns that will make this year's Share Fair unique. We are excited about the featured keynote speakers with "table talk time" to follow. The surveys from last year were helpful in organizing the new "breakout" sessions. Once again the Information Exchange tables will be loaded with ministry opportunities you don't want to miss! Reflective Life Ministries Announces the First...
"Open Door Retreat"
After much prayer, Reflective Life Ministries decided to "Open the Door" and sponsor our own retreat. This special retreat gives us an opportunity to minister to women from smaller churches, women who aren't connected to a body of believers, and women who just want to get away for a spirit filled weekend. We are excited to announce our first Open Door Retreat is scheduled for January 2010. Two churches are already committed to be part of this weekend experience - Praise the Lord for their enthusiasm! The Retreat Bundle will be Operation Basic Training - Equipping Yourself for the Battle. It will be an exciting time of worship, making new friends, and growing in the Lord!
