First Steps

Currently, interns from the Center for Great Neighborhoods are doing field work compiling Building Conditions and Land Use Worksheet Forms for each parcel of property.  They will be doing this work through September.  You may see them in the area gathering data, and we want you to be aware of their presence and know why they're here!  Data collected will be needed by the Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission (NKAPC) during the planning process.

Market Study:  This step of of Phase I is essential to the success of this project.  A Market Study will look at all aspects of the area from demographics to real estate types, businesses (existing and needed), housing, land use and range of opportunities.  This study is expected to be presented at the first public meeting this fall.

Next Steps

Project Website:  As the project progresses, a project website will be created and updates will be available there to anyone interested.  It will also be linked to NKAPC's website and the City's website.
