Suspension Bridge will remain open and operate normally.

Attached is road closure and detour information associated with The Banks project in Cincinnati that will begin Monday. The Suspension Bridge will operate normally during this work, but the setup on the Cincinnati side will be affected. This may be helpful information so you are not caught off guard if you travel North across the Bridge.
Monday, July 13, Race Street in Cincinnati will be closed to all traffic between Second Street and Theodore M. Berry Way until the end of August to accomplish the upgrade to the Freedom Way/Race Street intersection. Access is being maintained by making Rosa Parks (formally Vine Street) two way and also signing the Elm to Ted Berry Way route from Second Street. Walnut Street will remain closed due to the ongoing work. Attached is the updated detour map, press release, and the signage changes necessary to make it all happen. The basic concepts are to keep traffic moving on the bridge and keep access available to locations on both sides of the river.
