From Circus PAWS!
We've just received the following news regarding our upcoming Circus PAWS event and would like to share it with you.
As if Circus PAWS were not already exciting enough. . .
SILHOUETTES, from America's Got Talent, has been added to the lineup for both shows on Sunday!
And. . . world renowned choreographer DORIANA SANCHEZ has joined the creative team for Circus PAWS!
Circus PAWS takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 29 and 30, at the historic Avalon Theatre in Hollywood. Tickets for the 1 p.m. matinees on Saturday and Sunday, as well as the Sunday 5:30 VIP reception and 7 p.m. show, are still available.

PICTURED ABOVE: Silhouettes on "America's Got Talent"
This clever dance troupe, from Denver, Colorado, is comprised of kids, aged 3 to 19. They use shadow imagery to spotlight dance and create imagery by coming together like a "multi-body hand puppet."
 Simply put, the group recreates iconic silhouettes and incorporates them into dance routines. And they are so good - they not only made it through the audition phase of "America's Got Talent", but placed second in last year's competition. In our opinion, they should have won it all.
 The troupe is led by Cedar Rapids native Lynne Waggoner-Patton who moved to Denver in 1987 and runs A Rocky Mountain School and Dance and Performing Arts in Arvada, Colorado. The Rocky Mountain Silhouettes debuted in 2009 and quickly developed a reputation for their amazing shadow-based routines. A leading columnist once wrote, "These dancers are more than just shadows of their true potential. In fact, their true potential may actually be embodied in the shadows they create."
 Silhouettes will be performing for the 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. shows on Sunday, Sept. 30. They are donating these performances to the animals. Our sincere thanks and gratitude to these talented young performers!

DORIANA SANCHEZ | | |
 As a dancer, Doriana's image is forever remembered as the "polka dot dress girl" which opens and closes the iconic film Dirty Dancing. Well known for creating beautiful and extraordinary images for stage and screen, she has gone on to become one of the most successful director/choreographers in entertainment.
Doriana is currently resident choreographer on the television show "So You Think You Can Dance." Other television credits include the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, Divas Live, Euro VMAs, and the Blockbuster Awards.
 Doriana created and directed the extravaganza, Cher at the Colosseum. The show was a huge hit, selling out nightly during its three year, 200-plus performances at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. She also conceived, directed and choreographed Cher's Living Proof tour, which was honored with four Emmy Awards including "Outstanding Musical Variety Special." The show was seen by over three million people during its 325 performances, and ranks as one of the most successful tours in history, grossing over $200,000,000.Doriana was nominated for an Emmy for "Best Choreography" for the show's HBO special.
Doriana has also directed and choreographed numerous live stage productions and concerts, including Peter Gabriel's Secret World Tour. Her production of Barry Manilow's Copacabana was nominated for "Best New Musical" in London. She has worked with musical legends Gladys Knight, Natalie Cole and Rita Moreno, as well as singer Shakira, comedy superstar Ellen DeGeneres, and David Foster musical prodigies Jackie Evancho and Charice.
