Christian Doctrines - REL 3413   (3 Hr Course)
 
doctrineThe course, Christian Doctrines, will be offered at Broken Arrow First Baptist Church on Thursday evenings, 6-9 pm beginning August 26.
     Analysis will be given to the basic concepts of Christian thought from the Biblical to contemporary era with major emphasis on the consideration of the essential doctrines of the Christian faith under such categories as God, Man, Sin, Redemption, Christian Life and Eschatology  Classes will begin August 26 and will end by December 16.  This is a 3 hour course.
Text:  Introducing Christian Doctrine (Second Edition) by M. Erickson: Baker Academic.  ISBN: 0-8010-2250-9.
Cost:  $99 an hour ($297) for students taking the course for credit.  Those who audit this course may attend classes free of charge except for the purchase of the text.  A freewill offering for the instructor will be appreciated.

Survey of Cross-Cultural Ministry - AMIN 2753   (3 Hr Course)
 
cross cultureThe course, Survey of Cross-Cultural Ministry, will be offered at Calvary Baptist Church on Tuesday evenings, 6-9 pm beginning August 31.
A "must" for those planning to participate in mission trips or work with other ethnic groups.  This is an introductory study of the Biblical, historical, and theological foundations for cross-cultural ministry.  Classes will begin August 31  and will end by December 14.  This is a 3 hour course.

This is a survey of the Old Testament writings within the context of the history of Israel.  Attention will be given to Israel's identity as the covenant people of God, the development of Israel's national and political consciousness, and her relationships with other nations.  Special emphasis on the principles of Biblical interpretation and the major theological themes of the Old Testament.  This course  begins September 20 and will end by December 13.  This is a 3 hour course.
