GeoShareBC and the CivicSpatial Grant Program support Local Government Data Delivery
The GeoShareBC toolkit automates data exchange among ICIS members, making it easier for data producers to publish their updates and data consumers to access the latest ICIS data. A CivicSpatial Grant of $1,500 has been awarded to both the District of West Kelowna and Okanagan Similkameen Regional District for more frequent submissions of cadastral data using this toolkit.
New Grants Awarded for AddressBC
Our new grant offering to support AddressBC is another way that the CivicSpatial Grant Program supports our members. The following ICIS members are the most recent recipients of the $1,500 AddressBC grant:
Village of Fruitvale
Kootenay Boundary Regional District
Village of Montrose
Musqueam Indian Band
Town of Sidney
District of Squamish
City of Trail
To date over $46,500 has been awarded from a total $100,000 allocated to AddressBC support!
Grants are awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis so make sure to check out the ICIS website where you will find application forms for both Regular funding and AddressBC funding. For assistance with your application or if you have any questions, please contact Ann Archibald, Program Coordinator.
