The Mission of Imagine a Woman International
"Our beloved planet is in desperate need of women who love themselves.
Women who use their personal and communal resources to design woman-affirming solutions to address the challenges confronting humankind.
Women who give birth to images of inclusion, poems of truth, rituals of healing, experiences of transformation, relationships of equality, strategies of peace, institutions of justice, and households of compassion.
Women full of themselves for the sake of their children and their children's children."
Excerpt from Imagine a Woman in Love with Herself (Conari Press)

| IMAGINE A WOMAN
|
Imagine a woman who believes it is right and good she is woman. A woman who honors her experience and tells her stories. Who refuses to carry the sins of others within her body and life.Imagine a woman who has acknowledged the past's influence on the present. A woman who has walked through her past. Who has healed into the present.Imagine a woman in love with her own body. A woman who believes her body is enough, just as it is. Who celebrates her body's rhythms and cycles as an exquisite resource.Imagine a woman who honors the body of the Goddess in her changing body. A woman who celebrates the accumulation of her years and wisdom. Who refuses to use her precious life-energy disguising the changes in her body and life.Imagine a woman who names her own gods. A woman who imagines the divine in her image and likeness. Who designs a personal spirituality to inform her daily life.Imagine a woman who authors her own life. A woman who trusts her inner sense of what is right for her. Who refuses to twist her life out of shape to meet the expectations of others.
Imagine a woman who is interested in her own life. A woman who embraces her life as teacher, healer, and challenge. Who is grateful for the ordinary moments of beauty and grace.Imagine a woman who participates in her own life. A woman who meets each challenge with creativity. Who takes action on her own behalf with clarity and strength.Imagine a woman who values the women in her life. A woman who sits in circles of women. Who is reminded of the truth about herself when she forgets.Imagine yourself as this woman.******************

IMAGINE A MOTHER
|
Imagine a mother who believes she belongs in the world. A mother who celebrates her own life. Who is glad to be alive.Imagine a mother who celebrates the birth of her daughters. A mother who believes in the goodness of her daughters.Who nurtures their wisdom. Who cultivates their power.Imagine a mother who celebrates the birth of her sons. A mother who believes in the goodness of her sons. Who nurtures their kindness. Who honors their tears.Imagine a mother who turns toward herself with interest. A mother who acknowledges her own feelings and thoughts. Whose capacity to be available to her family deepens as she is available to herself.Imagine a mother who lives in harmony with her heart. A mother who trusts her impulses to expand and contract. Who knows that everything changes in the fullness of time.Imagine a mother who embodies her spirituality. A mother who honors her body as the sacred temple of the spirit of life. Who breathes deeply as a prayer of gratitude for life itself.Imagine a mother who values the women in her life. A mother who finds comfort in the company of women. Who sets aside time to replenish her woman-spirit.Imagine yourself as this mother.

Facilitator Certification
|
Join the "Imagine a Woman" International Inspiration Team as a certified Facilitator! Open Window Creations trains and certifies qualified
professionals to facilitate from the "Imagine a Woman"
Core Programs described in the next section of this newsletter.
There are two Certification options:
1.
Become an Associate Facilitator and facilitate one or more of the Core Programs. This "a la carte" option
allows woman-centered coaches, teachers, ministers, and
agencies to choose the specific program(s) that will enhance their
own programming. For example, you may want to develop a spirituality
group for your clients, but don't have the time to design it. In this case, the "Imagine a Woman" Spirituality Program would be
an excellent option.
2. Become a Core Program Facilitator and facilitate all six of the Core Programs. This
option works well for coaches, teachers, ministers, and agencies interested in offering a holistic curriculum for their clients. In
this case, the Core Programs would form the centerpiece of your
practice, institute, or agency's empowerment curriculum.
E-mail patricia@imagineAwoman.com for the Certification Information Packet. Available in PDF format, it will be e-mailed to you immediately for consideration. We
welcome those of you who are considering Certification to attend the
August 6-9, 2008 Retreat-Training.
Imagine
a woman who has relinquished the desire for intellectual safety and
approval. A woman who makes a powerful statement with every word she
speaks, every action she takes. Who asserts to herself the right to reorder the world. Imagine yourself as this woman!

| The Core Programs
|
The Six Core Programs empower women in all seasons and situations of their lives. The "Imagine a Woman" poem is the portal into this exquisite array of inspirational and
supportive resources. Because of the poem's universal accessibility and appeal, the Core Programs
will enhance the effectiveness of your agency, institute, practice, business, or ministry.
The Core Programs inspire and support
women to develop an internal "infrastructure," grounded and powerful
enough to keep them on course, moving their lives, relationships, and dreams
forward, from the inside out. Fundamental to this internal
"infrastructure" is the vow of faithfulness each woman composes to her
life and capacities.
Each copyrighted program consists of twelve sessions, easily adapted to weekly, monthly, quarterly, or retreat formats. Five
of the programs are organized around stanzas of the poem, appropriate to each program's focus. The "Imagine a Woman" Recovery
Circle is organized around the 12 Steps rewritten from a woman's
perspective.
Core Program 1 Imagine a Woman Fundamentals Circle "Grow in Knowledge and Love of Yourself" Core Program 2 Imagine a Woman Relationship Circle "Infuse Your Relationships with Clarity and Consciousness"
Core Program 3 Imagine a Woman Wellness Circle "Love Your Body Regardless" Core Program 4: Imagine a Woman Transitions Circle "Gather the Gifts" Core Program 5: Imagine a Woman Spirituality Circle "Design a Woman-Affirming Spirituality Core Program 6: Imagine a Woman Recovery Circle "The Twelve Steps from a Woman's Perspective"
Imagine a woman who has grown in knowledge and love of herself. A woman who has vowed faithfulness to her own life and capacities. Who remains loyal to herself. Regardless. Imagine your clients, parishioners, students as this woman.
