"The Hope of All the World":
Ekklesia Project Responses to President Obama's Nobel Speech...
Dear Friends, Once again the church is living in a peculiar time which calls for God-centered, ecclesially-centered, peaceful, political speech. We all know what a difficult achievement such speech is, but those of us who are preaching, teaching, and writing in these days after President Obama's Oslo speech are once again called upon to say something. As always may we witness to the Prince of Peace before the Lord's of war. May the church be a witness of God's wisdom before the powers of this world. Out of our "subversive friendship" the Ekklesia Project is producing a blog, entitled "The Hope of All the World": Ekklesia Project Responses to President Obama's Nobel Speech. We invite you to contribute sermons, blogs, newsletter columns and other writings. Please note that we are not asking for new material, but for the material you are already producing. This is the good work already being offered in service to the church which is God's politics, and we want to learn from it together. If you can contribute, please send it to John McFadden. We ask that all contributions be charitable and contriubute to our effort to serve the church.
