| Meet Your Local Attorneys: Jennifer, Laurie & Paula | | Dear East Orlando Community and Avalon Park Residents:*
Laurie and I have both lived with our husbands and children in Avalon Park for several years. We worked downtown as part of a large law firm and wished we could have our own business that treated clients more like family. Around this time last year we began planning to open our own law office here in Avalon Park. At that point we each had ten years experience representing businesses like Sea World, Disney, Exxon and Orlando Health so we felt we had strong experience to offer. We also knew that we wanted the opportunity to help the community with our law degrees and our time which was not something we were able to do working at a firm with hundreds of lawyers.
We saw great potential in Avalon Park as we love living here and have always participated in what the area has to offer including the local schools and businesses, the YMCA and the great events. We found the perfect space and after a lot of planning we opened our doors at the start of October of last year. Our office provides services in several areas including business law, estate planning which includes wills and trusts, real estate matters including foreclosure defense and landlord tenant issues, family law and personal injury. We also recently added Paula Leite to our office who specializes in bankruptcy. She lives in Lake Nona and will practically be our neighbor once the beachline opens soon.
We are now able to be active in the community through the Chamber of Commerce, Avalon Park Kiwanis which I am on the board of, the American Cancer Society, and local Orange County Schools where we volunteer including with the Timber Creek Trial Team which Laurie is very active with to name a few.
The legal issues listed above are just a few of the things we can help you with, and if you come to us with a problem in an area we do not specialize in, we will refer you to someone who can. Therefore if you have any legal issues please visit contact us via the information below.
Sincerely,
Jennifer, Laurie & Paula

In the over-55 population, it is more common in women than men
Symptoms:
Aching joint pain that is usually worse with exercise or weight bearing and better with rest
Stiffness with humidity or cold

| Congratulations Timber Creek High School-Winter Guard |

The Timber Creek HS Winter Guard attended the 2010 Winter Guard International Championships last week. The winter guard performed to music by Sigur Ros, Hoppipolla with quotes regarding how music effects us all in our everyday lives. The 20 young ladies and male competed against 87 other high schools from around the country where they finished seventh in Scholastic A Class Finals. Timber Creek started their finals run by placing second in their round with a 90.3 in prelims on Thursday morning. This score allowed the team to advance to the semi-final round to be held the next day. In semi-finals, the team again wooed the judges to take second in the Skylark Division with a 90.9. This score was good enough to advance them onto A Class finals that evening in the University of Dayton Arena. Timber Creek topped off their amazing season Friday evening by placing 7th with a score of 91.6. These young people worked very hard to realize their dream of performing in A class finals. It all started with fundraisers and car washes throughout the fall semester. Their staff includes Michael James - designer/choreographer, Stevenson Lumapas, Shannon Jenkinson, and Justin Andrade. Band directors are Rhett Cox and Devin Hoey. Weblink |
