Thank you for your calls and notes of encouragement, support and patience with our Hurricane Irene clean up days. A million thanks to our police, fire department and public works employees for their tremendous efforts in helping our community. Hope this finds everyone safe, dry and with power, water, phone and internet.
Hang onto the last few weeks of long summer evenings while dining al fresco at Mara's! Our patio seating will be available in the fall. The days may be getting shorter, but we're open until 10 pm Sunday-Thursday and 11 pm Friday and Saturday.

Cupcakes for a Cause Ceremony 
Rebecca Engel designed Becca 4 St. Jude Cupcakes for a Cause with Mara as her Bat Mitzvah project. They have been sold for one year and 20 cents from each cupcake will be donated to: We will present a $750 check to St. Jude, the only pediatric reseach center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance and no child is denied treatment because of the families inability to pay. Join us for the grand check presentation ceremony at Mara's. Bring the kids and show them the power of a young fundraiser.
