Songbird Cropped Sounds of Jazz
 
In anticipation of the city's 30th annual Jazz Festival  (August 28-31, 2008 in Millennium and Grant Park) , the Wiessman Gallery showcased the vibrant, jazz-inspired works of artist Kevin Jenne. The show was at the gallery's South Loop location and runs through to Sept. 20,2008.  The show made Crain's top ten things to do  in Chicago for the week of August 18th, 2008.
 
The open night gala show was graced with the presence  and live performance by Jazz singer Petra van Nuis accompanied by her husband, guitarist Andy Brown.
