The day commenced on a "gray" note, Montreal had just been eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The day was a hazy, rainy one, BUT that feeling changed the moment you entered into "Galerie Klimantaris".

The warm, brightly colored, jazz inspired works by Kevin Jenne were enjoyed by the 400 patrons that walked through the doors.

Kevin's colour choices for these paintings celebrated Montreal's cultural mosaic feel. A warm color palette-red, yellow, and orange were used and along with the vibrant whimsical tress showed the musical movement and feel of the city. These truly showcased the theme that was chosen by the Gallery "Spring Harmony".

If you were unable to be there for the Opening Reception, don't worry - the "Spring Harmony" show is running till the end of June.

Kevin Jenne has been accepted to be part several shows in California from the "Home Show" in San Francisco to the "Harvest Festivals" in San Mateo, San Jose, Sacramento and Pomona.  Will keep you posted as to times and locations in future newsletters.
