Music Camp a hit!

Music Camp
Our eleventh annual Music Camp was held July 12-16, and we had a wonderful week!  Thank you to all who helped make our camp a big success.  We had 32 campers, and on Monday night there were 200 in attendance at our concert with Tropical Steel.  We raised over $800 for Good Neighbor at the concert.   You can read an article about our camp in the Ames Tribune.  You can also go to the church's Facebook page to view photos of the week (you do not need a Facebook account to view the photos).

Student Welcome/Worship Under The Trees August 29

tree
We will welcome college students with our annual Worship Under The Trees service on August 29.  Our morning worship service will be held on the front lawn at the usual time, 9:45, with a meal to follow.  We will have barbecue from Hickory Park; FBC regulars are asked to bring a dish to share and students and newcomers are asked to just show up and enjoy a great meal.  Plan to join us and invite a friend!
