JESUS IS COMING SOON, BUT NOT TOMORROW! By Kerry A. Olson | |
Jesus is coming soon, but not tomoorrow... not next Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m.! I know that statement sounds quite brash and if you are biblically minded, you could be saying to yourself "But Jesus said in Matthew 24:36 that 'No one knows the day or the hour Jesus will return, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.' " Yes, nobody knows the day or the hour when Jesus will return, but we know when He cannot come!.. READ MORE >> |
MONTHLY QUOTE:
"When the score is added up one day as we stand before the Lord, many of us will wish we had played a lot more RISK and a lot less TRIVIAL PURSUIT."

As some of you may know, Kerry was hit with dengue fever at the end of a busy teaching week (48 hours of classes in 8 days!) at our Christ for the Nations extension school in Mérida, Yucatán in southern Mexico the end of August. He has fully recovered and thanks you for your prayers. After the fever subsided, he still felt like he had been hit by a "freight train" and remained weak physcially for a couple of weeks.
We are currently busy with the new school year in full swing. Every other Saturday Kerry teaches at our extension school in the nothern end of Mexico City 35 miles away and rushes back to teach the last hour of classes at the main school.
Please pray for the schools here in Mexico, as well as the schools which began this year in Quito, Ecuador and Córdoba, Argentina. |

JAMES ENGAGED TO BRUNA BRESSANE
| |
James and Bruna
Last month James and Bruna Bressane became engaged. They met each other when James did his Discipleship Training School with Youth With A Mission in Belo Horizonte, Brazil 5 years ago. The past two and a half years they have been close to each other geographically, as James was in college near Boston and Bruna was studying in Connecticut.
James is currently working at Melmark New England near Salem where he lives. Bruna is studying at the Salem State University. Bruna comes from a strong christian family and the wedding will be next summer in Brazil. We are looking forward to having our first daughter-in-law! |
