We've noticed a trend among some collectors to focus their collecting interests not upon single numismatic genres but in relation to thematic genres. One of the most consistently recurring generalist trends in Numismatics that we've seen has been for items that pertain to the history and imagery related to world Maritime Trade.
Well - there have got to be a lot of key-word searches undertaken in a hunt for the diverse range of memorabilia of the seas and many items won't even have those key words associated with them if they're listed by their relevance for the specialist collector. To aid those whose primary interest is in Maritime Trade we have collected all those items which we believe most clearly relate to this genre in a single section of our website. You can visit it now by way of the links in this newsletter or visit our Homepage and follow the Maritime Trade link maintained there.
Note: We have generally omitted Warships from our Maritime Trade section as our Ship Coins section is often predominated by these. Sea-life Coins are also not listed in the Maritime Trade section but can be found within the Animal Coins section under the Sealife subcategory. Our goal was to make the Maritime Trade section as easily navigated and as diverse as possible.
