August is always a bit slow here at TGO, and this year is no exception. We do really appreciate those of you willing to come out and shop in the heat. To show our appreciation, we are having a couple of great sales this month, including our first ever Statuary sale! More info is below.
We have just added the Submatic line of drip irrigation to our offerings. We have everything you'll need to set up or repair a drip system in your garden. You can even replace pop-up sprinklers with drip lines!
Also, since August is no time to try to grow lettuce or other greens in Austin, Jill has a great article on growing your own sprouts to add to salads or sandwiches. Good luck, fearless gardeners, stay cool!

 We've got a few plants, maybe a few more than we need. So it's time for a summer plant sale!
Thursday 8/4 thru Wednesday 8/17, all palnts are on sale as follows:
Annuals, Perennials, Cacti & Succulents, Herbs & Veggies, and Houseplants will be 20% off (some may be marked down additionally)
All other plants, including Trees, Shrubs, Vines, and Palms will be 40% off.

WHAT! A Statuary Sale too!
We often get asked about a statuary sale, and we have never had one. Well, it's about time to change that. We got the authorization to discount some selected statues, PLUS Jill and I went to a manufacturers facility and purchased some slightly blemished pieces.
This will translate to great prices for you! Not all fountains and statuary will be on sale, but selected pieces will be 20%-50% off (some fountains may require the purchase of a separate pump).
