The Great Outdoors News March 2010
Greetings!
Spring is springing all over the place!!! Those first few warm days have arrived and the garden center is buzzing with activity. It seems like more and more trucks are arriving everyday with fresh material. The new layout of the nursery seems to be well received, so even if you've been here several times, this year has a new look for you. We've also got some new smiling faces to greet you. This years staff looks to be the best ever!!! We are bringing back and old favorite this year, the Plant of the Month. A 4" annual, specially priced and stocked so you can make a real impact in the garden. March will feature the Begonia!!! New this year, we will also have a Plant of the Week, this will likely be a larger (1 gallon or 3 gallon) plant offered at 50% off normal price. In "different" economic times, Great Outdoors will be there for all gardeners to offer a good value. The first trucks of really exotic stuff should start rolling in mid-March to early-April. We've tagged some really awesome specimen trees and unusual plants from all over the country and this year will be as wacky as ever. We are also bringing back our speaker series, but this year we are going to focus on more down-to-earth skills and knowledge that every gardener can use. See the list below for March's dates.
