While some excuses are interesting at first
glance, the
end result in most cases is an inefficient process that
hinders business performance.

and failures. Very controllable factors such as
education, process, technology, and motivation are
keys to which outcome will be yours.

approach some companies will take when faced with
globalization.
India is a hot pick
for manufacturers exercising this approach, utilizing
the location for new plants as well as an export
destination.
Outsourcing is not necessarily the best answer,
however. Shops have many opportunities to look
inside and improve, and even simple steps such
as
implementing new software can drastically
reduce errors and boost productivity.
