As many people know, Another Room Book Arts left the nonprofit umbrella of Rhythmix Cultural Works at the end of April to become its own business.

Rhythmix Cultural Works gave Another Room its start on June 2, 2007, and a beautiful location for the Another Room Book Arts Bookstore.  During March and April, RCW's K Gallery, adjacent to Another Room, hosted the two companion book arts shows, Sitting Room (from Great Britain) and Sit Down and Read.

Since May, Another Room sold at the annual Printers' Fair in May held in San Francisco, and, during the summer, to private collectors.

For those private collectors, Another Room packed boxes of inventory for a private trunk show at their residences (one sale was in the hotel room of a collector visiting from the East Coast).

If you're interested in Another Room bringing its inventory to you, please email (lucy@anotherroombooks.com) or call (925-370-8136) to make arrangements.  It can be a kind of Tupperware Party for book arts.
