Blackboard Acquires Moodlerooms

In March 2012, Moodlerooms was acquired by Blackboard, the industry's largest learning management system provider. We led Moodlerooms' Series A round in June 2010 when the Company had less than three million in TTM revenue. With an open source, attractive cost and strong customer service offering, Moodlerooms achieved strong growth and became the go-to solution for next generation LMS systems. We are excited with this outcome and congratulate CEO Lou Pugliese and the entire Moodlerooms team.

Servigistics Acquires MCA Solutions

In March 2012, MCA Solutions was acquired by Servigistics. MCA is a leader in the service parts planning and optimization software market and now becomes an integral part of Servigistics' service lifecycle management suite. We led MCA's Series A round in 2002 and experienced their rise as a start-up to a growing, profitable and industry-leading company. We congratulate founder Morris Cohen and the entire team at MCA Solutions.

Symform Raises Successful Follow-on Round

As part of the blue print for the cloud of tomorrow, Symform closed on a successful $8 million Series B round led by new investor West River Capital. Existing investors Longworth and OVP Ventures participated in this round, priced significantly higher than the prior round. Longworth previously led Symform's Series A-1 round of financing in 2010. As the "Skype of Cloud Storage", Symform is 10x faster, 10x cheaper and much more green than the traditional data center.

As one of the top destinations on the mobile web with over 10 million monthly unique visitors, Cellufun has rebranded as Tylted. Tylted, a name chosen as part of a competition run by Cellufun, is focused on expanding its virtual goods business and new ad platform and building out its suite of HTML 5 games.

OwnerIQ continues strong growth

OwnerIQ, the ownership targeting ad network, continues its strong growth trajectory. Online ads are highly effective when advertisers can target the ad based on what products and brands consumers actually own or intend to buy. Consumer electronics retailers Crutchfield and Abt Electronics saw display ad conversions four times greater using OwnerIQ than from other ad networks.
