Debate Topic and Moderator Announced

The topic of the third and final 2012 presidential debate at Lynn University, where 24 % of the student population is international,  will be foreign policy.  It will be formatted into six 15-minute segments focusing on topics within foreign policy decided by the moderator in advance.

Earlier this week, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced the moderator for the debate at Lynn University will be Bob Schieffer, Chief Washington Correspondent for CBS News and Moderator of Face the Nation.

Lynn Develops iTunes U Debate Curriculum

In partnership with the Palm Beach County School District, Lynn University developed a K-12 Debate Curriculum for use in our county and across the country.  Educators can augment their lesson plans with free activities for each grade level, which are accessible on iTunes U if using a Mac or iPad or on the official Lynn debate website.

Many of the activities tie into Florida's Sunshine State Standards, and Lynn faculty and staff members Priscilla Boerger, Robert Watson, Maria Piret, David Jaffe and Chris Boniforti contributed to this project.
