Jim Lehrer, moderator of 11 presidential debates, spoke to more than 500 high school students from Palm Beach, Martin, Broward and Miami-Dade counties at Lynn's Wold Performing Arts Center just days after the official debate announcement.
Lynn University celebrated Veterans Day by recognizing student, faculty and staff veterans at the annual Red, White and Blue Barbecue.
The famed political satire group Capitol Steps performed in Lynn's Wold Performing Arts Center Nov. 12.

President Kevin Ross and Chief of Staff Jason Walton joined Boca Raton Mayor Susan Whelchel and Chamber President and CEO Troy McLellan at the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce November Membership Breakfast, where the duo gave a presentation on hosting the presidential debate.

President Ross and Dr. Walton also gave a debate presentation at the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County's Upper Level Breakfast on Dec. 12 (seen here with BDB Chair Fabiola Brumley and President and CEO Kelly Smallridge).

A history of civility
WASHINGTON -- As the fight for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination continues to wallow in mean-spirited negativism, the Commission on Presidential Debates celebrated the 25th anniversary of its creation here the other night. The theme, appropriately, was something we've seen precious little of in national politics this year: civility.
