The HERO line (614-293-HERO) is a phone line in the CCTS Recruitment Office dedicated to assisting the general public with their search for research studies and answering questions about volunteering as a study participant. New Clinical Research Management System
The new system launched July 9, 2012
The Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University has contracted with Click Commerce to develop a Clinical Research Management System (CRMS) to track clinical research. On July 9, 2012, the pilot group, the Heart Vascular Research Organization, started using the system to track clinical trials in their unit. Read More |

Faculty / Staff Highlight Alison Lane, PhD, OTR/L
The Ohio State University Center for Clinical and Translational Science has awarded Alison Lane, PhD, OTR/L, the Pilot and Collaborative Studies Award for her study, 'Clinical and neurophysiologic identification of sensory dysfunction in children with autism.' With this project, Lane hopes to gain a better understanding of sensory processing in children with autism. Read More |

The Medicinal Chemistry Shared Resource (MCSR) integrates the expertise of multiple disciplines to provide medicinal chemistry support to investigators. Acknowledging CCTS Support How does NCATS affect acknowledging CCTS support? Now that NCATS is up and running, all CTSA funded institutions have a new protocol when it comes to acknowledging CTSA funded support in research publications. Contact the Research Concierge if you have any questions or need further assistance with this new protocol that is required by the NIH. |
