Designing Your One-of-a-Kind Western Office

In today's ever changing world it seems that personalized taste is being overcome with low cost, imported, generic décor. Western office decor is as varied as the people behind the desk. So why settle for the box store furniture? 

Offices should, of course, be functional and comfortable. Conveying a professional appearance to your clients should be an important choice in selecting a look for your work space. But what about looking good too? Your own personal style and a unique design should be an important part when designing your work space. 

The days of handcrafted furniture- every piece a work of art- are disappearing. Imagine being able to sit behind a desk that is completely unique and one-of-a-kind. You could proudly say, there is only one of these.  

If you are designing a small work space, or a home office that has limited room, think about making the area a place that is comfortable and inviting. Take the small desk titled "Spirit of the Tetons". This desk has unique design elements with soft flowing lines. The Teton mountains, the finches in the branches, are hand carved and bring nature indoors. Sitting at this desk has such a great feeling, it's hard not to be inspired.

Do you have a large work space to design? Something larger like, "One with the Earth" could be more to your liking. Plenty of storage, work area, and of course great looks.

And what about all those important papers? You need to be just as stylish carrying all that work. A custom, one-of-a-kind briefcase is just what you need. Bison leather briefcases and laptop bags look good in the office and out.

Award-winning painter, James Ayers, announces a new line of limited-edition fine art giclée prints to give discerning collectors a budget-friendly way to bring the majesty of historic Native American culture into their homes.

For 11 years, James Ayers' fans have been imploring him to sell prints of his paintings, which feature historic Native American people and culture. Now that he has finally entered into the print arena, Ayers wanted to thrill his patient admirers by offering images derived from some of his most beloved original paintings.

"Every edition in the line was created from an original that had passionate response from collectors," Ayers says. "You can choose from a range of subject matter from warriors and maidens to historic people and scenes."

"My original paintings typically sell in the $4,000 to $34,000 range, but I know that many collectors cannot afford to invest at that level," says Ayers. "I've worked for over six months with one of the top printers in Los Angeles to develop a high-quality line that is reasonably priced."

The collection features 19 different images, most with multiple sizes available. All works are signed, numbered, and printed with archival inks on canvas and are available either unframed or ready to hang with a "gallery wrap" style finish. Every print is accompanied by an official certificate of authenticity.

Jason Boland & the Stragglers continue their stay at the #1 spot on the Texas Music Chart this week with "Mary Ellen's Greenhouse." Brandon Rhyder holds on to the #2 spot with "In the Country." Robert Earl Keen lands the #3 spot with "I Gotta Go," while Reckless Kelly drops to #4 with "Good Luck and True Love." Max Stalling rounds out the top 5 with "6 x 9 Speakers."

There's a three-way tie for biggest Chart move this week with a six spot jump. Jamie Richards moves from #34 to #28 with "She's Cold As That Beer She's Drinking"; Granger Smith moves from #38 to #32 with "I'm Wearing Black"; and Nick Verzosa jumps from #47 to #41 with "She Only Loves Me."

New to the Chart this week are Ryan Beaver with "Hate" at #46; Randy Brown with "My Days are Numbered" at #47; and Jody Booth with "Nashville" at #49.
