1. Don't be afraid of who you want to be. "People talk themselves out of great pieces because others might judge them," observes Snedeker. "We like to erase the tapes in people's heads and get that voice to be quiet."
2. Have something spectacular in the room. "It's like casting for a movie; you want to get the best star you can get."

3. If you think it's too big, it's just right. "Soaring high ceilings are our biggest challenge- it's a cavernous room. In high-ceiling, big rooms, you have to bring attention to the human level. We say no to neutrals in big rooms. Also, you have to get scale to play together and to find a balance between round and straight lines."

 4. Become aware of the whole process. "It isn't just about design or color or patterns- it's all of it together."
5. Learn to express how you feel about your environment. "It's an emotional thing, not an intellectual one." Snedeker warns that if you hear yourself saying, "It will do for now," you have just wasted your money. Her best advice: "If you don't love it, don't buy it."

Chuck's Woodbarn
Lavished in Leather- Beautiful Gun Trunk & Bench
Chuck Zeller, coming from a long history of wood workers, has found his forte in life by steam-bending wood to create heirloom pieces of furniture. His works of art are not only beautiful and unique, but also very functional.
This 1870 trunk design was originally called a Monitor Trunk, more recently identified as a Waterfall. It has a very difficult curve in the hardwood slats that are steam bent to accentuate the curvature of the lid. Hand crafted of quarter sawn white oak , this striking work of art will be a treasured family heirloom for years to come.
The padded gun rack protects your favorite firearms from being damaged, with ample storage in bottom for more guns or all your necessary accessories.

Your Guide to Texas and Red Dirt Music
Kevin Fowler holds on to the #1 spot on the Texas Music Chart for the sixth week in a row! Right behind Kevin are the Casey Donahew Band at #2 with "Breaks My Heart," Stoney LaRue at #3 with "Velvet," the Turnpike Troubadours at #4 with "Long Hot Summer Days," and the Eli Young Band at #5 with "Crazy Girl."
Reckless Kelly makes a big move this week with "Good Luck and True Love." The single moves up 17 spots from #36 to #19. Max Stalling also jumps 17 spots with "6 x 9 Speakers."
New to the Chart this week are Whiskey Myers with "Ballad of A Southern Man" at #40 and Six Market Blvd with "Misery in Me" at #46.
