Dear Friends and Family,

Welcome to another update on Miami Dream Center. It's been very busy the last month. The focus is on Adopt-A-Block this month because God has really been blessing that outreach.

Thank you to all of you that are supporting us financially. We are blessed by your sacrifice and pray that God multiplies it back to you.

As we look forward to the holiday season, pray that God will open the windows of heaven and pour out His Spirit through us as we meet more and more people that need Jesus.

Believing for Miracles,

Kim and Terrance Butler

Adopt-A-Block is growing!

We have increased from 30 to 60 to approximately 180 doors on Saturdays. It's been 3 months since we started and we are beginning to see results. Thanks go to the amazing team from Pastor Joe Lortie's School of Supernatural Ministry for their help last Saturday. It seems they were blessed as well. From their comments, they understood that there truly is a mission field right here in Miami.

As we walked from door to door, they witnessed the poverty, in the natural and spiritually. They also witnessed what at first appeared to be a funeral procession. It wasn't. It was a memorial procession for a boy that had been killed in a drive by shooting. It was a stark reminder that the enemy came to steal, kill and destroy.

Following is a small sample of the scenarios we encountered and the responses of the people:

"Archie"-We prayed with him on the first day of outreach. He was depressed and needed a job. We went every week and offered prayer. Sometimes he didn't even come to the door he would just say he was ok through the window. We kept coming anyway. Last week he came to the door, his countenance had changed and he thanked us for coming every week and praying for him, he finally had a job interview and wanted us to pray for the outcome.

"Arthur"-We gave Arthur a Bible last week. His response was "Is this really for me?" when we said yes it was a gift for him, he replied, "It was my birthday a couple of days ago and I haven't received a gift in years". He was blessed and overwhelmed.

"Stephanie"-This family usually doesn't want prayer and the young girls just tell us everything is ok. Last week, they invited us in and wanted prayer. Stephanie is pregnant and the baby is breach. She was headed in for a C-section the following day and wanted prayer over her and the baby. She thanked us for coming every week even when she wasn't very nice. She told us she knew we didn't have a building, but when we get a place to have church she wants to attend because that's the kind of church she wants to be a part of.

"Ben"-Ben has finally realized that we are serious about coming every week. He always wants prayer for his family and for his health. Last week he turned down prayer. However, after we left he called us back and asked us if we would come in and pray over his house. We prayed for him and his teenage daughter and are believing God to bless his family and heal his kidney's.

"Dominique"-She needed prayer for depression and health issues. After praying with her, she said she wanted to ask Jesus into her heart. We prayed with her again. Her countenance was still the same. I sensed there were demonic spirits oppressing her. When I asked about occultic activity in her life she said she was involved in voodoo. She renounced the voodoo and began to weep tears of joy. We will continue to visit her and see that she gets discipled.

There are many more testimonies we could give. However, rather than tell you we would like to invite you to be a part of the team. Consider booking a short term mission trip to experience what God is doing yourself. If you've never experienced Miami, you will feel like you are on the foreign mission field.

If you're local, have a food drive for nonperishable food items such as rice, beans, canned vegetables and fruit, peanut butter and jelly and cereal. Financial support is always needed and appreciated. And last, but certainly most important is prayer covering.

Thank you for believing with us!
