What is "Benching"? Benching-Bivi

Companies are looking to do more with less...less time, tighter budgets, & smaller offices. The idea of "benching" solves most of these challenges. Workers are becoming more mobile and collaborative. Benching applications (like the Steelcase/Turnstone-Bivi shown here) take up a smaller footprint and require less pieces saving you money but still offer plenty of worksurface, storage and tech-friendly options. It is a great place for a mobile employee to quickly touch down in the office or for a resident employee to work at most of the day. Removing cubicle panels like this suggests open communication, information sharing and co-worker interaction within a department or office while saving money and space.
