"God Bless America"
The US Congress finally established the 4th of July as Independence Day in 1941. It is a holiday that reminds us of the ideals put forth in the Declaration of Independence by some very brave forefathers. This declaration ultimately led to a representative republic governmental process that has served America well for 235 years.
Our American forefathers dealt with many hardships and risks in establishing the great country. We much express our thanks and gratitude on the 4th of July in celebration that we live in such a great country. We should be encouraged to work together, hand in hand, to resolve our problems and differences in order to maintain the integrity and values upon which the Declaration of Independence was founded.
America struggles today with the same issues that our forefathers faced in 1776 - the role that government should play in our lives and the process that dictates how these decisions are made. I will avoid the political arguments but to say that the first priority of most our congressmen today (in both parties), is to get reelected. This leads to conflicts of interest and does not always lead to doing "what's right" for the vast majority of voting Americans.
I have discovered in business and in life that there are almost always several ways to successfully accomplish a task. Most of us gain satisfaction from figuring out solutions for ourselves. This same concept should apply to governments, meaning that it is better to error on the side of less regulation and, thus, avoid the same unrest that was encountered in 1776.
In conclusion, like our forefathers, we too can resolve our differences by working together as we enjoy celebrating the 4th of July and all of its other symbolic events. We share a common goal and belief that all people are created equal and that this country is founded on the belief of "life, liberty and pursuit of happiness" for all.

Here are some first hand tips that can prevent chigger and other bug bites and some remedies for relief after the fact. I will focus on chigger bites since they can be some of the easiest to get and can cause the most burdensome itch.

Sitting Increases Heart Attacks by 54%!
Research shows that people who sit for most of the day are 54 percent more likely to die of heart attacks.
Standing just 4 hours per workday burns 240 extra calories or 1200 calories per week. (Lookout Stairmaster!) This equals 62,400 extra calories per year!
In 1953 researchers in Brittan found that a sitting bus driver is twice as likely to die of a heart attack as a standing trolley operator. Folks, this is old news but still very relevant today. Sedentary lifestyles are hazardous to your health!
