Welcome to our October MediaMountain Edge! Summer is fading and there is already a winter chill in the air. Some early snow has already fallen across parts of the Alps and the Skiing World Cup in Sölden, Austria, gets underway in just a couple of weeks! We have a great winter season to look forward to with some exciting news to share. For starters, we are proud to welcome Adam Mills to the team as Commercial Director. MediaMountain Welcomes Adam Mills to the European Sales Team!

Adam Mills, former managing director of Admedia, joins MediaMountain as Commercial Director. In his new role, which he started on Monday September 4th, Adam will be working alongside our European Sales Director, Piers Noller, with a remit to increase international sales as well as other growth opportunities in Europe.

We are very pleased to have been able to lure Adam to MediaMountain. He has the wealth of experience and the drive we are looking for during exciting times and projects we have ahead of us for the coming winter and summer seasons.

World Class Skiing in Planai

Sportive skiers, adventurous snowboarders, casual winter sports enthusiasts and sun worshipers are all in their element in Planai & Hochwurzen.

Planai is one of the most innovative ski resorts in the Alps. In preparation for the World Ski Championships 2013, significant investments have been made. Of course guests can already profit from this: the extraordinary base station "Planet Planai", a new underground carpark, wider slopes and the brand new 8-seater chairlift "Mitterhaus" are just some of the resort's noteworthy improvements.

Also during the World Ski Championships (4-17th of Feb 2013) the 4-mountain connection of Hauser Kaibling – Planai – Hochwurzen – Reiteralm will be operative and the majority of slopes will be fully available for normal use. Up-to-date information can be found at www.planai.at.
