March - Ski Month of Competitions
We know what you’re thinking "has it already been a month since the last MediaMountain newsletter"? Well yes, yes it has but what a month it’s been! Winter X Games - Tignes, Burton US Open, FIS World Cup Ski finals and the Freeride World Tour finals still to come this weekend.
It’s safe to say that this month’s series of competitions is going to be hard to beat for some time to come and its all due to a certain person called Shaun White. Not only did he win Winter X Games Aspen, he also decided to turn up at Winter X Games Tignes last week and take home yet another gold medal with a close to perfect half-pipe run (video)!
Now, if newsletters had gold medals this month’s edition would undoubtedly stroll straight to the top of the podium. We have videos galore, Mariah Carey singing her heart out in Ischgl, a snowboarding Opossum (yes you did read that right), our guide to the best closing parties and we say a fond farewell to the legend that is Didier Cuche.
