FIS World Cup SoldenAudi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup started the season with a spectacular Giant Slalom on the steepest part of the Sölden glacier. This was the first test for the racers after the summer, so expectations were high...

Spectacular early openings in November...

The winter has definitely begun. Just to name a few resorts that have already opened some of their slopes: Kitzbühel, Schladming-Planai, Sölden, St. Moritz, Engelberg, Zermatt, Saas Fee, Tignes, Les Deux Alpes and so on...

Kesha PlanaiParty time still has to begin though! At the end of this month there are some serious opening parties planned. November 27th Gossip will rock in front of 20.000 snow fans in Ischgl. Then a bit later on the 4th of December, Ke$ha and OneRepublic will party hard with the thousands of visitors in Schladming Planai. You better start waxing those ski's!

Planai openingThanks to some early snow and low temperatures, several ski resorts have already opened their doors for the early snowbirds. The first ski resort without a glacier was Schladming-Planai. They are keeping 4 slopes open until the season really starts of.
