Gstaad to invest € 120 million in replacing old lifts
Gstaad is currently in the final stages of putting in place a new quad chairlift and gondola, and improving snowmaking capacity for skiers and boarders by December.

The resort is thereby about to take a quantum leap in terms of the comfort and quality available in the resort. The new chairlift (below) comes with a price tag of € 5 million and replaces an old lift built in the 1960s. It is just the first part of an eight year, € 120 million investment program.
