We here at Cullens want you to get the most from the meat we provide.  Knowing which cut of meat to use and how best to cook it ensures great taste, will keep it tender and bring out the best flavour.    

TASTY TAGINES  

..a traditional Moroccan dish that is full of flavour.  The cuts used are simmered gently so that they remain tender and moist.  Spices & Fruits are added for warmth & sweetness.   

Here are some suggestions that work great when cooked as a Tagine:  Whole Chickens cut into pieces, or use the thighs or leg. If you fancy Beef, try cubed chuck Beef / Rib Steak.  Or cubed shoulder or neck of Lamb.

Great served with a simple Couscous, Green Salad and Yoghurt & Harissa Dip.

Pan Fry, Grill or Roast them - then deglaze the pan with some cider or apple juice for an instant gravy!  Or for a simple sauce -add a splash of creme fraiche or cream to the pan along with some mustard and butter.
