Hello!
Monday October 25th, 2010 is our LAST market for the season! Come on out and stock up and show your support! The UTSC Farmers Market was a pilot project put on by Retail and Conference Services. We wanted to thank the farmers and vendors who showed us the ropes in the Farmers Markets realm and who continously brought new ways to expand and grow the Market. We also wanted to thank you, the supporters of the Farmers Market. Your support has been insurmountable through rain and shine! We will be reviewing the project to determine how to move forward and will by requesting your feedback next week by email. Please take the time to fill in the survey or send any comments or feedback you have.
At the UTSC Farmers Market this week you will find the theme is around pumpkins!! Ever wondered what to do with the pumpkin seeds after carving a pumpkin? We will have a scrumptious pumpkin seed recipe and demonstration on site for 4:30pm and 5:30pm not to mention, we will have a table for pumpkin carving/decorating!
We look forward to seeing you at the UTSC Farmers Market, your one- stop for locally produced vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses, breads, baked goods and honey!
Cheers,
Billi Jo Cox Project Coordinator UTSC Farmers Market
