Greetings!
Summer is finally here, ushering in warm weather, poolside barbecues, and lots of family fun. After being cooped up all winter long, it's finally time to get outside and enjoy blue skies and green grass. The summer is a great time to start a home improvement project. BRINGING INSPIRATION TO LIFE

This month we are excited to feature a newly remodeled kitchen in Blacksburg. This project began with a magazine article depicting a bright and airy cottage kitchen which the homeowner wanted to recreate in his new home. The designer and homeowner collaborated to select materials and style elements that evoked the feel of the inspiration kitchen.
In addition to updating the look of the kitchen, Ewing Cabinet Company's partnership with Ewing Building and Remodeling allowed the homeowner to improve the function of the kitchen.
The space was transformed by removing the main wall separating the kitchen and dining room. Appliances were relocated so that the kitchen functioned more effectively.New lighting and ceiling beams were added to recreated the cottage look.
"Their attention to detail was matched only by the craftsmanship of their crew. Everyone of their staff and workforce exhibited great pride in their work and showed an interest in my home as if it were their own. All of my friends and visitors are left breathless when they enter my home, the kitchen renovation is truly stunning and overwhelms those who witnessed my "before" kitchen." - Chris Sarver
