Every Monday at 2 pm Thanks to your attendance, her Conversational Yiddish group is thriving with world-recognized Yiddish teacher, scholar, translator and raconteuse Hadasa Cytrynowicz. Originally from Lodz, and later a long-time resident of Brazil, Hadasa brings a wealth of experience and stories, songs, proverbs and sayings, poetry and interesting topics for discussion to her group. Each session is an hour and 15 minutes. Admission is by voluntary donation.
Keep your Yiddish kite flying by attending this group! All levels of Yiddish are welcome. Kumt arayn!

We are calling on the Jewish community to go out to the streets, to join with Occupy LA at City Hall for a day of demonstration, learning,singing, dancing and conversation in which we begin to clarify the way from here to a more just society. We will set up a Sukkah as a focus of celebration and ritual and as a symbol of both the fragility of life for many people right now and the persistence of our dreams and demands to make our city into a community in which justice dwells.
