In A More Beautiful World Gallery
House of Pleasures: Paintings by Eliza M. Schmid
March 5 - April 30, 2010
Opening Reception, Friday, March 5, 6-8 pm
House of Pleasures

Eliza Schmid, a classically trained psychoanalyst, spins stories in her paintings that are whimsical, tragicomical and grotesque, often about abnormal, surrealist mental conditions that are yet tellingly emblematic of our so-called "normal" times. Her previous show several years ago was one of the most popular ever in our gallery. Don't miss this show of new work, and a chance to meet and speak with Eliza at the opening.
