Institute Expands Board of Advisors
Mark Tercek, president and CEO of The Nature Conservancy, and Disque Deane Jr. a Duke alumnus with more than two decades of experience in water resources have joined the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions' Board of Advisors. Both Tercek and Deane will fulfill three-year terms with the board.
Galik to be a Graduation Speaker
Christopher Galik, research coordinator at the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, has been selected to serve as the alumni speaker at the Nicholas School of the Environment's annual Recognition Ceremony. Galik earned his master's in environmental management from Duke.

Jay Golden, the director of the Duke Center for Sustainability & Commerce at the Nicholas Institute, will lead a new certificate program in sustainable systems analysis at Duke.
