Oil Spill Commission Co-Chair Speaks to Campus
Watch the video of William K. Reilly's speech "Deep Water: The Gulf Oil Disaster and America's Energy Future." Reilly, co-chair of President Obama's Oil Spill Commission and chair of the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions' Board of Advisors, spoke to campus on the findings of the commission's investigation into the 2010 Gulf of Mexico spill Jan. 24.

John Henderschedt recently joined the Fisheries Leadership and Sustainability Forum (Fisheries Forum) as its first executive director. Overview Available on EPA Regulations Under the Clean Air Act

Over the course of the next two years, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will phase in greenhouse gas regulations for large stationary sources using three separate sections of the Clean Air Act. Read the backgrounder the Nicholas Institute put together on these regulatory approaches and their application to greenhouse gas emissions.

Feb. 15 Sam Merrill, Financial Adaptation to Sea Level Rise and Storm Surge, 4 p.m.
