Hitchcock Spoof Wrong Window at Landmark
Landmark Studio for the Arts will be presenting the play Wrong Window on March 23rd, 24th, 30th, and 31st at 7:30pm. Written by Jane Milmore and Billy VanZandt and directed by Christine Allen, it is a hilarious comedy who-dun-it that pays tribute to the master of the suspense thriller Alfred Hitchcock. The story is a take-off on Hitchcock's hit film Rear Window and contains "subtle" hints of his other films. Join us and laugh at The Landmark.

 Free Food and Clothing Giveaway
Bread of Life Missions Ministry from Monroe, North Carolina in coordination with Mid State Church of God in Gassaway will be hosting a Spring Giveaway on Saturday, March 10, 2012. Distribution will begin at 9am at the Braxton County Senior Center. The mission team will be brining in a tractor-trailer full of items to be given away at no charge to anyone in the community. Items will include men, women, children and infant clothing, baby items (strollers, car seats, high chairs, etc.), household items, and toys.
Food boxes will also be given out to each household and a hot meal will also be served. The Bread of Life Missions Team will be ministering at Mid State Chuch of God Friday and Saturday evenings at 7pm and during Sunday Morning Wroship service at 11am. Everyone is invited to attend. There are no income guidelines.

"That Dam Race 5K" T-Shirt Design Contest
The 2012 Mountain Lakes Festival held at Sutton Lake is now accepting entries for the 2012 "That Dam Race" logo design. Local artists and photographers are asked to create a logo for the 5K t-shirts and send it in, either through email, mail or drop-off to the CVB office. All types of designs will be considered. The winner of the contest will receive $100 cash prize and the honor of having their work printed on the 2012 "That Dam Race 5K" shirts.
