Poplar Forest Update
Poplar Forest, non-profit home of Appalachian artists and craftspeople, will switch from regular hours of operation to opening the store at 200 Second Street in downtown Sutton, WV by appointament only.
This will start January 1, 2012 and continue through the winter until spring. To tour the works of 30 plus members please call Tamara Cicogna at (304)765-3655 or Kevin Carpenter at (304)765-5960 to set up an appointment.
Tamara Cicogna, owner and operator of Controlled Excentrics and the Town Square Cafe, will be hosting the works of Poplar Forest artists through the winter of 2012 in the Town Square dining area.
Check the local newspapers to see who and what artists will be featured or stop by the restaurant at 400 4th Street next to the courthouse downtown Sutton.
