Greetings!

Where do you get your protein?
All vegans get more than their share of that question.  In "Protein, A Revered Nutrient" (part of a transcript of T. Colin Campbell's on-line Plant-Based Nutrition Certification Course-and the author of The China Study) Carl Voit, a German professor, often considered the father of nutrition, determined that 52 grams a day of protein (less than 2 oz.) was the daily requirement.  Protein was, and is, in many ways almost equivalent to the word "meat," as many people fail to recognize that plants have protein, too.
In a study on cancer, T. Colin Campbell found that a high intake of (casein-the one he experimented with) protein (20% of the total caloric intake per day) given to rats, promoted the development of tumors, while dropping the intake level to 5% shut down the tumors.  When soy and wheat protein were tested at the same levels, neither were found to promote tumor development.
Through urine tests, the minimum daily amount of protein was determined to be 5%-6% of total calories per day.  Researchers made some statistical adjustments to come up with the recommended daily allowance of 8% to 10%; which is close to what one tends to get on a plant-based diet (10% to 11%).

Sylvia @ Super Foods Seminar

Super Foods Seminar Just in Time
A lady who attended the Super Foods Seminar who had had a heart attack remarked that her doctor recommended she needed to increase her protein intake.  Her protein level was 13% eating Licious foods; and she was about to start eating chicken.  By exposing her to the information above from T. Colin Campbell, and to Super Foods like Mila (Chia Seeds), Maca (a cruciferous vegetable for hormonal balance and virility), Chlorella (a dark algae for cell regeneration, cleansing and vitamins, including the illusive B-12), Manoa Bee Pollen, Non-GMO Soy Lecithin, with Coconut Water as a meal replacement, she could decide if she really needed more protein, and if she did she could choose from the whole super foods. We now have these available at the store - come by and check them out!

I recommend it highly.
TESTIMONIAL:
One of my friends who had been taking Mila has found incredible energy.  She's been taking dance lessons with a lot of younger women and has found that by taking Mila, it's easier to keep up with them.  Her friend in Japan who had tried Mila for a week called her to let her know that a condition of dry eyes that had plagued her for years had gone away after a week's use of Mila.  My friend became a Mila distributor and is glad to have a reason to go to Japan more often with it.  If you know of people living in Japan, Mila is now in Japan too.

You can now order a bag of Mila direct through this Link: http://www.lifemax.net/Licious  Click on the words, "MILA Purchase Product," and sign up for a $5 discount by becoming a "preferred customer."

Mila (www.Lifemax.com) is a proprietary blend of Chia Seeds containing the highest amount of Omega Fatty-3 Acids, Proteins, Fiber, etc.  Omega Fatty-3 Acids are essential for a proper balance in your digestive system and you cannot take too much of it.  Omega Fatty-3 Acids are anti-inflammatory and this in itself is a good reason to take it.  Inflammation has been found to cause Alzheimer's, cancer, heart problems, diabetes, the list is too long to name here.
We're taking it daily here at Licious Dishes and experimenting with it in soups, sauces, desserts.
