Feature Article Mable Students Move UP! Each and every year around this time, there is a buzz that sweeps through Mable Campus! It's not because the end of the school year is near, it is because the students get to MOVE UP to the next grade level for a morning. On Tuesday, June 5, all students at Mable Campus took a (short) journey to the next grade level. The Kindergarten and Junior Kindergarten students from Citron even made the journey to Mable Campus for this special day.
Students met and spent time with each of the teachers who are in the grade they will be in next school year. Each teacher presented to the students about a unique topic. For example, Mr. Adame had his students participate in a listening activity, Mr. Briner and Mrs. Riley presented to sixth grade students about the Grand Canyon overnight trip, Mrs. Bauman helped the Junior Kindergarten students complete a bookmark commemorating the tree in front of Mable Campus, and Miss Patterson explained a "day in the life of sixth grade" to the students visiting her class.
