During the months of January and February, Mable Campus will host Grade Level Information Meetings. These meetings will be held in the library and will showcase each grade level. We encourage parents to attend the meetings for the grade(s) their child(ren) will be in the next school year. The teachers for each grade level will attend the meetings to answer any questions that you may have. Each grade level meeting will also have an encore presentation the morning after the evening meeting. 5th Grade Information Meetings- Wednesday, February 15, at 6:00 p.m. AND Thursday, February 16 at 8:45 a.m. 6th Grade Information Meetings- Wednesday, February 22, at 6:00 p.m. AND Thursday, February 23 at 8:45 a.m. We hope to see you all there! Mable Campus Re-Enrollment Kick-OffDuring Wednesday morning's flag salute, our mascot Rocky helped kick off re-enrollment season as Mable Campus "surfs towards its goal." Rocky acknowledged Chandler T., who was the first re-enrolled student for the 2012-2013 school year. To show our appreciation, we will ring the old school bell whenever a student renews their commitment with Fairmont. Students also will receive the 2012 Coupon Book, which includes vouchers for free dress, homework passes, free lunch, free cookies, and much more. In addition, a drawing will take place on March 7th for grades 1-5 and on March 15th for grades 6 - 7 for a variety of prizes, including an opportunity to be named the ever-popular "Director of the Day." As a reminder, priority registration ends Friday, February 17th. As the strategic plan commences, space will be limited next year, so be sure to save your child's seat. Parents, to celebrate, please stop by the front porch to enjoy our Kona Koffee from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. on Friday, the 17th. You can drop off your contract, have some treats, and dance the hula with Rocky.

Feature Article Boys' Tri-Way Basketball Wins League Championship
The Boys' Tri-Way Basketball team, under the direction of Coach Barry Robinson, finished their regular season with an undefeated 11-0 record. To complete their undefeated season they had to compete against such schools as Hertiage Oak, Carden Academy, Pegasus, and eight other schools in the Tri-Way league. After completing their regular season, the Panthers earned the top seed in the playoffs.
The playoffs began on Monday, February 6 when our boys took on the Fairmont-Anaheim Hills team on our home court. The Mable Panthers came out on top of the Anaheim Hills Cougars with a 45-28 win. The game was a solid team effort with consistent all around effort. This win advanced the Panthers to the semi-finals.
Being the top seed Mable again, played on their home court. The semi-final game took place on Wednesday, February 8. This time the opponent was Peagus from Huntington Beach. The Mable Panthers squeaked past the Pegasus Thunder with a 36-33 win. By all accounts the game was a nail biter as the game stayed close the entire time.
The win in the semi-finals launched the Panthers into the Tri-Way finals. The final game was played against the Calvary Eagles from Calvary Christian School in Santa Ana. The Eagles started the game out strong as our boys were down by 7 points in the first quarter. However, by half time the lead had been cut to 2. In the second half, it was the Panthers turn to come out strong as our boys outscored the Eagles by 18 points in the second half. The final score of the game was 62-44.
Congratulations to our Boys' Tri-Way Basketball team on an UNDEFEATED season! Way to go boys!
