 Welcome to the Mango Newsletter
Wow!....... It hardly seems possible that this is the last edition of Mango Matters for 2011. It's been a jam-packed twelve months, so much so that we've been able to take on two new members of staff including our very first apprentice - you can read more about him below. With a business like Mango, it's all about trying new things. People thought we were crazy when we started our same-day courier service, www.mangocouriers.co.uk, two years ago at the start of the recession. But, thanks to our brilliant customers, business has increased 150% since last year and isn't showing any signs of slowing down. So, as this is the last edition for the year, I'd like to use this opportunity to thank you for your continued support. It's not only meant we could grow, but that we could do lots more to help our local community as you'll read in our 'Mango Pips' section. Whether you'll be celebrating Christmas or just enjoying the winter break - happy holidays from all at Mango Daniel Levan-Harris CEO & Co Founder |

Your questions.........
Every month we advise hundreds of customers on various storage and courier-related issues. Recently lots of the questions have had a distinctly sporty theme, like this... 'I'm renting out my home during the Olympics, can Mango Storage help me with my stuff?'
Mango's Caroline says... "Over a million people will be looking for accommodation during the Olympics so it's little wonder so many Londoners are planning to cash in by renting out their homes. Putting personal belongings such as photo albums, clothes and books into safe storage is an easy way to take the stress out short-term lets. We can store anything from items the size of a suitcase to a whole room's worth of possessions. Our service can even include packing your belongings, taking them away and delivering them back to you once you're ready to move back in.

You're hired!
At just 17-years-old, our new apprentice Michael joined us three months ago but is already proving a hit with customers. It's the first time we've run an apprenticeship scheme and we're all amazed by how much he's learned already. Here's what he says...
Tell us about your apprenticeship
I help the Operations Manager Guy Heywood run Mango's International and UK overnight service. It's a really busy department which is great because it means I get to do everything from wrapping and packing shipments, taking bookings from our customers and providing quotes. In the evenings I help coordinate all of our shipments and get them sent to the airport.
How are you finding working at Mango Towers? Everybody is really nice so we all get on well and it's not too strict. To top it off I never have to wear a suit... ever! What's been the most surprising thing you've come across? The number of destinations we can do next-day delivery to - I couldn't believe it when I saw New York on the list! And finally, what are you hoping to find in your stocking this Christmas? As I've just passed my driving test (woo hoo!) I'm hoping Santa gets me a car! |

Mango favourites - MMS Law In every issue of Mango Matters we like to include one of our favourite suppliers or clients. are a little bit special because they are both! As well as regularly using our same-day courier service, they're also our legal team. They're brilliant at not just making sure we operate well within the law, but really taking the time to help us understand the more complicated areas. They work with a range of clients from individuals to large corporations in areas such as Property, Company & Commercial and Litigation & Dispute Resolution. In short - we highly recommend them!

Father Christmas... the ultimate courier!
Phew! If Father Christmas' sleigh carried a small toy for each child around the world it would weigh a whopping 333,333 tonnes and take 214,207 reindeers to pull it! (Surely it would be easier if he just outsourced to Mango?!)
