It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to this, our first edition of the Mango Matters Newsletter.
Day-to-day, everybody here spends lots of time giving customers advice about all things courier and storage related, so we figured, why not do it on a bigger scale?
This month we're doing just that by launching not only the Mango Matters Newsletter, but also the Mango Blog click here.
I'd love to hear your feedback on either so please get in touch at daniel@mangointernational.co.uk.
Finally, to all Mango Logistic's customers and friends, whether you'll be celebrating Christmas or just enjoying the winter break - a very happy holiday from all at Mango.

Sending out corporate gifts
This Christmas, UK businesses will each send gifts to between 15 -1000 contacts. But wrapping and sending them all can be incredibly time consuming. That's why we offer our packing and delivery service. Nipper is the man in charge, he explains: "We introduced this service because we knew it was taking customers days to wrap and send their gifts. Also, using the regular post office meant they couldn't guarantee that the gifts would arrive safely and on time. This special service means customers can give us a list of clients and tell us where to collect the gifts from, then leave the rest to us." Find out more on our website www.mangointernational.co.uk Whoops!Left an important client off your Christmas present list? Don't worry, our next day courier service means they never need know. |

This month our customers are talking about...
Since explosives were found on two cargo planes last month, lots of customers have been asking if there are any changes in regulation around sending international packages. At the moment there are two changes that our international courier customers should be aware of:
1. You can no longer send packages into the UK from Yemen or
Somalia (including in transit). However, sending packages from
the UK into those countries is still allowed.
2. We are no longer able to accept ink or toner cartridges weighing
more than 0.5kg.
We're keeping a close eye on the situation so, rest assured, if
there are any changes, we'll let you know

Mango favourites
This month, we've been chatting to our neighbours at Griffin Fire, the Fire Protection experts. Being a logistics company, fire protection is always top priority for us, but it's easy for other companies to fall foul of regulation.
Griffin Fire's Helen Jones told us: "The dangers are two-fold. Firstly it's about keeping staff and property safe. Secondly if companies are found to be non-compliant, the fines can be huge."
To have a chat and organise a risk assessment with the friendly folk at Griffin Fire www.griffinfire.co.uk/, call them on 0844 245 9028.

Mango Magic
Imagine if Father Christmas used Mango Logistics to help him reward all those good girls and boys... We'd need a warehouse big enough to store around 330 million gifts. The Mango sleigh would have to take the weight of 660 million lbs. Our courier service would need to travel around 175 million land miles in 31 hours and the courier would have one second to park the sleigh, deliver the gift, eat the mince pie, and get back to the Mango sleigh again. And yes... Mr Claus would receive a discount! |
