Homeowner News and August Calendar
Dear Homeowners,
 
Here is our August calendar for community events!
The big one this month is the National Night Out on August 21st! We have partnered with Officer Slack and The Colony police department to make this a fun evening and a chance to connect with the people that take care of us and give us a safe place to live!
This will be a carnival style event with games, prizes, food and fun!!
 
We are also having a community Field Trip to Hawaiian Falls!!
See details below and RSVP if you plan to make it.
 
Next week we are having a fun Italian evening at the home of Steven and Anastassia Pool!
RSVP to me if you can make it!! Should be a fun (& yummy!) night!!
 
AND FINALLY, Don't forget, Yard of the Month will be awarded before August 1st, too!
If you win you will have a suprise sign in your front yard!  contact me to collect your prize!
Prizes include: $100 at Lowes OR a round of golf for four at The Old American OR a $100 gift certificate a WoodHouse Spa in Plano.
 
Coming today or early tomorrow will be a letter from Adam Peterson addressing the development and a meeting that we are planning in the near future to address the community,status builders and updates. Also, below I have included a few answers to some of your questions and will continue to work towards keeping you as informed as possible.

Hosted by Sharon Moody at 3056 Mitchell Way

August 12th- DANCE LESSONS RESUME at The Tribute Club House!!7:00-8:00
This week will focus on Latin Style Dance!
Come learn to Rhumba, ChaCha and a tasta of Salsa and Tango!!
We always get people at different levels of experience, so come as you are and lets boogie!
 
August 14th- Team Training 7:30 AM outside of the Lochs pool
BRING YOGA MAT.

August 15th- Field Trip to Hawaiian Falls Water Park
still woring out the time. Probably late afternoon until closing.  
Every Tribute resident will pay kids prices for the day & I will be providing food, extra fun and reserving a special pavillion for you guys! 
Price- $15.99 per person

A Few Answers to a Few Questions:

Community Maintainence:  
Lochs Pool 
  • We had a significant leak on the far end of the Lochs pool. Like BP, we were hoping it would have been sealed sooner than now. We believe it's finally stopped leaking and the hole in the ground is set to be filled by Monday of next week.
  • We have issued orders regarding the plumbing in the bathrooms and should have updates on the progress there in the next few days.
  • Finally, they will be checking all of the outlets at the Lochs pool to be sure all are in working order.

Kids Play Area-Aberdeen 
 
  •  Wood chips will be added to raise the level and quality of surface in the play area this week, per the HOA.
