One of the most stunning live plant concepts to come around in years is the green wall. Unique in its application, the green wall, wherever showing, attracts onlookers and spectators as no other display can.  Not as difficult as you might think, the green wall  is now suitable to many applications. Read on.

THE GREEN WALL

A green wall is a vertical planting that can range from a 4 foot by 5 foot tall panel to an entire wall section. Like an aquarium, the green wall can become the center of visual attention. Many a cell phone picture has been taken as one practically gets lost gazing at the textures and colors that no art can duplicate

Funny thing, so much "flat" art is an ATTEMPT to capture natural living landscapes but the green wall IS a natural living landscape.  But unlike any art or aquarium, the green wall is made up of living plants that are proven to absorb air pollutants and give oxygen back for us to breath.

Several companies manufacture sectional or modular green walls that can be customized to fit most needs and are complete with automatic watering systems.  Plant selection is based upon design preference and available light levels, but as a vertical display, the green wall can be applied so as to take up otherwise unusable space. Dozens of different plant varieties can be enjoyed in the space formerly taken up by paint. The green wall will never replace the popular floor or table top plant, but can be a spectacular addition to the proper application.

Interior landscaping is emerging as a "fashion-oriented" business.   It can be the finishing touches to the overall design or stand as focal points to catch the eye.
