Join a Chamber Committee

Each month we'll be spotlighting a different Chamber committee. Please contact the Chamber office if you wish to participate - we're happy to have you.

The Education Committee

This committee works to inform and educate NMCC members on valuable, business-related topics. The Education Committee also puts on several informative seminars during the year. We urge you to join this committee and help educate our members and perhaps gain some insight yourself. Contact Domenick Carofine at domallstate1@gmail.com or 732-671-2615 to join today.

The Committee is exploring the possibility of starting a Business Book Club. They would like to initially see how much interest there would be by asking our members to complete a brief survey. Please click here to access the survey.

Short Sales? What are they and are they right for you?
Short sales arose years ago as a way for people facing foreclosure to sell their home, with the bank taking the proceeds, even if it is less than the total owed. With today's downward realty trend, and 60% of homes being worth less than the money owed, short sales are the method used when anyone has to sell their home in the case of a job transfer, divorce, disability, or retirement reasons.

If you have to sell and you owe more than your home is worth, consider a short sale. To find out more, come to a free short sale seminar on September 28th. Register at www.ShortSaleSpecialistNJ.com
