EICC Summer Meeting: Save the Date
The EICC Summer Membership Meeting will be held July 16-18 at Gillette Stadium, which is attached to the Renaissance Boston Hotel & Spa at Patriot Place in Boston, MA. Participants may stay on location at the hotel if they register early. All other hotels are located 7-10 miles away.
Important Note: Extra Day
The EICC Board is reviewing a recommendation by AMS to add an optional third day to the meeting (July 19). The day would be used to engage issue experts and interested outside parties. A final decision on the proposal will be announced in the next Bulletin.
Sponsorship Opportunities
The meeting will be hosted by EMC, which is helping to cover some of the costs. Other members are encouraged to help offset remaining costs for what we anticipate will be the largest and most successful membership meeting to date. Contact Grant Feichtinger for more information about sponsorship opportunities.
Early hotel registration is available here.

Audit Process Updates and EICC-ON Enhancements
The VAP Operations Management Team and the Tools Management Work Group have responded to member feedback to make enhancements to the audit process and EICC-ON. Changes will be made as follows:
- May 15: Updated audit protocol available based on the EICC Code of Conduct version 4.0 (pending Board approval). Offline VAP Audits (not managed in EICC-ON) with the new 4.0 protocol can begin. Use of the SAQ in EICC-ON before audit scoping is strongly encouraged.
- May 15: Offline auditee (AMA) and customer managed audit (CMA) processes released.
- June 11: VAP audits with APM/VECTRA managed corrective action plans (CAP) can be scheduled and managed in EICC-ON.
- Mid-September: AMA/CMAs can be managed in EICC-ON. VAP audits without CAP can be scheduled and managed in EICC-ON.
Details VAP audits scheduled after May 15 will be performed against the Code of Conduct version 4.0 (contingent on Board approval of changes by May 8). Start preparing SAQs now in EICC-ON to facilitate scoping and pre-audit work. A completed SAQ will replace the need for an Attachment A. The Tools Management Work Group will test the updated audit protocols in EICC-ON when they are released. Scheduling and management of VAP audits in EICC-ON will begin during the week of June 11, assuming that tests of the audit protocols in the system succeed as anticipated. VAP audits scheduled in EICC-ON will initially also include audit program manager (APM) management of the corrective action plan. If you do not want the APM/VECTRA to manage the CAP, the VAP will be managed offline. By mid-August EICC-ON will allow either APM/VECTRA management or customer management of the CAP. The teams are also finalizing processes required to complete auditee and customer managed audits. The offline processes are scheduled for release during the week of May 15. AMAs/CMAs can be managed in EICC-ON by September if system tests are successful as anticipated. Status updates and additional details for these improvements and projected release dates will be provided in the Bulletin.
